On Sunday 24th November, 6 gymnasts from Splitz Gymnastics club’s Artistic Class took part in the Fromeside Floor and Vault Invitational competition.
Competing against 7 other clubs the gymnasts each competed on two pieces of apparatus, floor and vault.
Medals were awarded for the top 3 scores on both the individual pieces and the highest overall combined
scores.

The gymnasts were pleased to win 5 medals
Competing in the Beginner Level 1 age 9 category, Irina Talu was awarded 3rd place on vault, 6th place on floor and 6th overall.
Also competing in the same category Lacey Willis was awarded 1st on floor, 5th on vault and 2nd overall.
Cassie Collins competing for the first time in the Beginner Level 1 age 8 category was awarded 12th on vault, 11th on floor and 11th overall.
Niamh Page competed in the Beginner Level 2 age 9 category and was awarded 4th on vault, 3rd on floor and 3rd overall.
Imogen Buck also competed in the Beginner Level 2 age 9 category was awarded 6th on vault, 4th on floor and 5th overall.
This was the first time both Niamh and Imogen competed at this level.
Jessica Carter competing in the Beginner Level 2 under 11 age category did very well for her first competition achieving 6th on vault, 7th on floor and 5th overall.
All Gymnasts performed to the best of their ability, presented themselves excellently and were a credit to the club.
