Artistic Class Competition
On Sunday 8th March 9 gymnasts from Splitz Gymnastics club’s Artistic Class took part in the Fromeside Floor, Vault & Trampette Invitational competition.
Competing against 8 other clubs the gymnasts each competed on three pieces of apparatus, floor, vault & trampette.
Medals were awarded for the top 3 scores on each of the individual pieces and the highest overall combined scores.
The gymnasts were pleased to win 10 medals.
Competing in the Beginner Level 1 category were Khloe Miller, Cassie Collins, Molly Glen-Boardand Irina Talu.
All the girls performed well within their age categories resulting in Khloe Miller receiving silver on floor
and Irina Talu receiving gold on trampette,
Competing in the Beginner Level 2 category were Imogen Buck, Niamh Page and Jessica Carter.
The girls performed well and were rewarded with 3 medals. Imogen Buck received silver on trampette,
Niamh Page received bronze on floor & bronze overall.
Competing in the Intermediate Level were Florence Hampton and Francesca Dudd.
Both girls performed very well and were awarded 5 medals between them.
Florence Hampton received silver medals for floor and vault, gold on trampette and gold overall.
Francesca Dudd received a silver medal on vault.
All Gymnasts performed to the best of their ability, presented themselves excellently and were a credit to the club.
